Santa Barbara Style
Santa Barbara style is what I call the new "Southwest" style; an effortless way of living. Derived from the regions of California and Mexico, this style ususally has a large element of indoor/outdoor living. This style uses all natural elements such as terracotta pavers, handmade tiles, woods of both dark tones to white oak, beamed ceilings, rustic, and organic textures. This mix of elements is usually a "ying and yang" of the cooler white walls with the warmth in the textures and fabrics for a soft and casual look. This style can be used throught many regions of the country due to it's clean and simple styling. All one needs is nature and and a desire for the simpler things in life.
